Do you still need breast pads if you are not breast feeding?

You don't need to stock them, no. If you find that after giving birth that there is leaking, you can put wash cloths in your bra, or buy some pads then.

If you are leaking then they are good to have.

Only if you're leaking. I breastfed, but I only leaked for about 8 weeks, then my supply regulated.

I'm still breastfeeding & don't need the pads anymore. I stopped leaking after about a year of nursing.

I only needed for the first couple of months.  Once I stopped leaking from oversupply i didn't need them. I nursed one child for 14 months and another for 18 months.
