How do you budget during Christmas time?

Well my boyfriend and I have steady jobs now. He makes WAY more than me though. This year we wanted to buy christmas gifts, but we're not sure if we'll be able to afford it. I have my boyfriends family, my dads side, and my step moms side so there's a lot of people. Do you think it would be acceptable to only buy the kids gifts? Or even do DIY gifts?

Hope you enjoy your Saturday! simple smile

I would buy the kids gifts everyone else you can just make them something.

I have a Christmas club account so that's how we budget.

A Christmas club account is an account the you set up through the bank or credit union. The account earns interest monthly.

We add money to it every month. When the holiday season starts we don't feel as overwhelmed.

Also its a great idea to shop the day after Christmas when everything goes on clearance.

We don't exchange gifts between adults.
