I've decided to wean my daughter but I am now going through the agony of engorged breasts until my milk dries up.  My midwife said it would be painful but I was wondering if anyone had any tips for calming it down?   it is soooooo sore!

Weaning should be done by dropping one feeding per week until all feedings are finished. Any faster and you get the problems you're having.

^^ what she said. Also, cabbage leaves work to dry you up.

Use warm compresses and stand under warm running water to help with the pain.
