I wouldn't let a 10 or 11 yr old wear make up.

No way, the rule in our house is when they have a job and can pay for it themselves.

I let my girls (11 & 9) wear it around the house, but not to go out in. Our rule is they have to be in Jr High

I wouldn't and didn't let my 11 yr old WEAR make up. She was allowed lip balm, that was it.

At ten I was allowed to wear clear mascara and lip smackers Chapstick. I could play around with everything else but I had to wash my face when I left the house. If I had a daughter I would have the same rule with her.

My daughter (9) wears full makeup for dance and that is it.  There's no need for kids so young to be wearing it all the time.

We started lip gloss at 10 and allowed neutral nail polishes.

At 11 we allowed mascara.

At 12 it was neutral eyeshadows and lipsticks for special occasions and church.

At 13 we allowed everything and more freedom with colors.

At 14 we lifted restrictions completely.
