Hi Everyone:)
We just found out Thursday that my youngest is allergic to just about everything. I still breast feed and will need to start to pump so we can see how many ounces she is actually getting. I need to cut these items out of my diet as we can't afford the nutramigen.
They gave her the epi pen which isn't a real great early first birthday gift! I am glad we found out early though.
I have searched online a bit and found some info on how to start all of this. I know I am not alone which is a good thing when your looking for help:)
Almost forgot she is also allergic to tomato and pears. They also put her on duo cal since she lost 2.75 pound in a month. She also has severe reflux and is on zantac for it.
Questions i need help with: (Thanks in advance!!)
1.) what to eat for snacks?
2.) Do/ did you make everyone in the family change to a new "free" diet?
3.) Ever a chance to eat out anywhere again!?
4.) Any really good cookbooks you have used to get used to cooking free?
5.) Is it best to shop organic?
6.) Have you tried cherry brook kitchen items and are they good?
7.) know of any other free lines of food products?
8.) Rice milk? Any one brand better than another?
9.) Any baby cereals that are free of these?
That's all I can think of for now. Thanks so much for any help you can give me. Please feel free to email me. I did order a book called my kids allergic to everything dessert book and also the whole foods allergic cookbook ( i think that was the name?)
Have a great day and thanks for reading, Jenn
