Prolapse after birth..

I had my third child just 3 weeks ago. Last night in the shower I had the guts to scope out my vagina to see how things were healing down there and then I almost fainted! I don't know if I am still swollen from delivering a 9lb baby or I have a prolapse of some sort. I know the only way to be 100% is when I go for my PP check up but has anyone of you experienced this?

I called the OB/GYN on call. She said what I seem to be explaining to her is a prolapse of my cervix. It's just my body is not completely healed and it needs more time to go back to "normal"

What is the treatment for that? Does it just go back where it's supposed to be on it's own? Sorry, I've never heard of this particular prolapse, so I'm just curious. Hope you're feeling better soon and congratulations on the new baby :-)
