I've resisted buying shoes, even though I get ads from shoe stores.

Have you successfully resisted buying something lately, especially something you didn't need?credit card

My kids wanted to go to Build-a-Bear and those prices are ridiculous for a plush!

All the time. I passed up some cute candy dishes at Target the other day.

Mostly, I just purchase household essentials and groceries.

We are saving for our vacation coming up and have been trying to avoid the extras. The other day, I really wanted to pick up a new loom for a project I want to start. I even had it in my hand and was justifying the expense. I put it it back though.

$30 worth of groceries we do not need and would probably not eat.

I like pretty dishes. I passed up some at Goodwill last week. I kept walking back to them but decided I didn't need them.

You were so wise to pass these up. I frequently have my hand on a grocery item and then just bring my hand back, empty, and move on.
