How far apart?

How far apart are your kids? We are TTC right now and the goal is to have the baby by the time our daughter is 4. I grew up being 2 years apart from my sister and my faince was 7 years apart from his sister. He doesn't really care, but I want my daughter to have someone to grow up with. Do you think 4 years is a decent age gap? I'd have preferred to have done it sooner but we just had too much going on.

My older two are exactly 4 years apart and this seems to be a good gap.

My first 3 are all about 11 months apart. My youngest is 21 years younger than her next youngest sibling.

My kids are two years apart.

My sister and I are 4 years apart. We were incredibly close growing up and in to our early adult years. We're not close now, but age isn't the reason for that.

My son and daughter are 2yrs 3w apart.

I'm currently pregnant with number three. And my daughter will be 4 years apart with the baby. And my son and the new baby will be 2 years apart.

I have read that 3-4 years apart is ideal. My two boys were 8 years apart. They have always had a special bond, and now that they're grown, they are still very close. I don't think that the number of years apart they are makes the difference in whether or not they are close. I think it depends on their own personalities and how they are treated as they grow.

I'm pregnant with our first, and I think there is a good chance he or she will be an only.

My first 2 are 20 months apart. They are very different from each other, but have managed to be and stay very close to each other. They are 16 & 18. My youngest is 11. He and 18 year old DS1 have become quite close too, it's really sweet.
