I find that interesting, as from experience I know that I can't lose weight when I have issues with my hormones.

seems to make sense for the most part.  i work nights so there is no way that I can give up caffeine but do see it association with my cortisol levels.

That sucks.  I am over 55 and doing great losing.  Lost 40lbs in 13 months.  It isn't easy but with eating 1300 to 1500 calories a day and exercising 1 to 3 hours a day 5 to 6 days a week is working for me.  I have plateau's but I change up exercise and my diet every 6 weeks to 2 months.

Interesting. I gave up caffeine some years ago and instantly saw a difference in not getting up so many times during the night, and sleeping better...didn't see any change in my weight though. Lol I think the metabolism as we age has a lot to do with having problems losing weight, so we need to decrease calories and speed up the exercise. That's worked for me at least.

I am pretty close of giving up all my caffeine. But it will be hard for my coffee. I love that o much.
