Igf-1 low

My daughter turned 15 months on November 28. She is 27.5 inches long and 16.7 pounds. She has had bone age scans done showing her bones are delayed. She also has elevated thyroid levels. At her well baby visit her doctor wanted the labs repeated except they ran the IGF-1. When we got the results back they are <16. We don't see an endocrinologist until April. I feel like that is very far out. Any advice from Mama's who have dealt with this before?

Can you call and see if they can get you in earlier? Or at least talk to the nurse to see if there is a concern?

I'm sorry you have to go throw that. I hope you'll get answers soon. Can you search for a different DR or a clinic to get in faster.

Call in and ask them to notify you of a cancellation. Ask the pediatrician who referred you if there is any problem with waiting that long. He or she might be able to pull some strings to get you in earlier.
