Okay, so my husband wants to make time for his hobbies; fishing, hunting, basketball. He suggests that I take time out of the house for my hobbies. Unfortunately, I don't have any! Lol. I'm curious to what you mommies do for fun. What do you do when you leave? I need hobby ideas!

i have amillion hobbies but never do any of them, most of them are in home hobbies like the kids scrab books, baking, i really love organizing things as sad as that sounds, im starting to like the idea of sewing but never did it beside in 8th grade when i make a sweatshirt that was one sleve shorter then the other, i do enjoy getting my nails done and my feet massaged and shopping was an adiction till i became a sahm

My daughter has autism but she can laugh, cry, and love just like yours. she may never dress herself but she can go to college and become a dr.  she may never make friends her own age but shes my friend for life. and please if u ever get the chance to meet my daughter, stop looking at her like shes a brat, she cant help her stairs or attitudes u can help urs. get to close u might get bit but it wont give u autism. do yourself a favor look it up.

Here are my hobbies:
I sew, paint, write, needlepoint, scrapbook, weave, bead......
and pretty much anything else creative I can get my hands on.

If you are looking for a social hobby you could try bowling, getting involved with your church, joining a local book club, golfing, taking a class at night, volunteering at a local school, or joining a local moms group.

Hope this helps give you some ideas. :)

I wish i could afford my favorite hobby, shopping!  Hee hee.

My hobby is in the home.  It is trying new recipes.  It's the only hobby my family doesn't mind me having.

One night a week (fridays) our Park and Rec has open gym for volleyball and my husband lets me go play its 3 wonderful hours with other adults and it only costs $3.  So worth the peace, and if I have had a bad week I can take it out on the ball

My husband likes to say that I am  jack of all trades when it comes to hobbies.  I love to sew, cross stitch, crochet, paint, make hair accessories, wood working, beading, unfortunately I can't go dancing by myself and hubby won't go otherwise I think that would be one of my hobbies too!

If you want something that you can outside of the house try contacting your local town and see if there are any groups you may be interested in belonging to.  i joined our local group and play bunco with a group once a month and since joining have made so life long friends as well.

You can also contact you local YMCA to see if their are and physical activities you may be interested in such as a ladies softball team, tennis, or other sport related activity.

Good Luck I hope you find something you enjoy!

I walk on nature trails, read, do puzzles, go to the gym, have lunch w/ the girls, play on the computer, bake, yoga...etc.  Whatever I have the energy for basically.   I also like to do crafts but most of the time I do kid friendly ones so that my son can do them w/ me.  Look at the flyers in your local supermarkets, a lot of places that offer social functions post there.  You may find something that interests you there.

Gardening, now is the time I go through catalogs, make a list, then paste the pics of the plants & bulbs I want & make notes of where I want to plant them in my yard and gardens. We have a long, S -curving driveway, with two beds at the base, near the street and there's three beds along the sides at the curves. My DH is a professional landscaper, so I can try to make my plans,( he thinks I'm just like a kid with this) But, I know he looks my ideas over & adds my thoughts in with his "professional touch. it's fun, keeps me busy and gives me a goal.
I also like to try to paint, acryllics, my neice sent me a beginner's kit, it's fun!
