One of the best things you can do for her is to sleep with her, or let her sleep with you.  PTSD is very disabling disease, I have it, and the thoughts, fears, emotional reactions, etc. are not her fault and do not go away easily.

My daughter is on Concerta, and one of the side effects is sleeping problems.  If she could, she could stay up all night.  I give her Melatonin to help her sleep.  It's a over-the-counter natural remedy..
