I knew that would get all of you to open this....... Now I'd like to say something and I hope w/ all my heart enough of you will AGREE w/ me.

Too often in these groups we hate on each other b/c of our political or religious views. We spend hours debating topics like abortion and the pros and cons of Obama. We get into catfights and call each other names. For what purpose.........

I have an alternative what if instead of WASTING countless hours arguing about things that we can't change let's do something about what we can.  There is over 87,000 women on this group alone do you have any I idea how powerful we are? As mothers we are born w/ an instinct to protect our young...... so why do we turn our heads and shrug our shoulders when we see a story on the news. Too often we say hmmmmm someone should do something... GUESS WHAT WE CAN BE THAT SOMEONE.

What happened to that baby doesn't have to happen again...... WE can be the CHANGE. Let OUR voices be heard all over the world that WE won't sit back and allow any child to be abused. If we rise up and demand that these ppl be held a ccountable, that there are tougher sentences, etc someone will listen.

They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up to injustice.
They don't take "no" for an answer
when they believe there is a better solution.

Okay, I must have missed something, but I agree!

Just because she calls me Mom does not mean I am going to stop being Jen

It was a poem I found....

THE WORTH OF A WOMAN
"Women have strengths that amaze men.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens,
but they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy
and laugh when they are nervous.

They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up to injustice.
They don't take "no" for an answer
when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.

They cry when their children excel
and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about a birth or wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member,
yet they are strong when they
think there is no strength left.

They know that a hug and a kiss
can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you
to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love.
They have the compassion and ideas.
They give moral support to their
family and friends.

Women have vital things to say
and everything to give.

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,
IT IS THAT SOMETIMES THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

YES INDEED!  We are all on the same team and there is an opponant out there. We MUST stand up and BE the change we seek to see in this world!  NO ONE CAN DO EVERYTHING BUT EVERYONE CAN DO SOMETHING!  And the bottom line is IF YOU SAY YOU ARE GOING TO DO IT>>>>>>>>>>>THEN BY ALL MEANS DO IT!  PEOPLE ARE COUNTING ON YOU!

Tme to make the pledge.

I believe this will help with what you (the OP) are trying to say:
