At what age do soft spots finally come together? my daughter is always bumping her head on my chin and i'm afraid she'll hit too hard one day and really hurt herself.

can she be hurt if she does hit my chin??

Usually they close up by a year, but some can take longer.  My son's was completely closed by about 10 months I think.  Just hitting her head on your chin isn't going to do anything.  They have tissue that is acting as a barrier until the spot comes together.
