Is it normal to have cramps at the first couple weeks of pregnancy! I had my last period dec. 25th and took two pregnancy tests and both said yes but i am having sharp pains almost like period cramps.

My nurse said it's normal because your uterus is stretching & growing again but if it got to be too sharp or persistent or if there's any spotting with the cramps then to definitely call.

Hi TBrown

It is normal to have some cramping early in the pregnancy. If it really bothers you contact your ob/gyn.
