My son has a bad ear infection. they gave us drops for it. they want me to put a cotton ball in his ear to keep the drops in   puhlease. he is 15 months old. he won't keep his pants on much less a wad of cotton in his ear. lol. so all i have been doing is making him lay still for as long as possible to let as much as it can soak in there. but i was wondering if my wonderful cafemom mama's had any good tips???

tr putting the drops in while he's taking a nap... it only takes a few minutes for the drops to go into the ear so if you can do it in each ear while he sleeps, you won't need the cotton ball.  Or you can try to cut the cotton ball in half so that it's not as uncomfortable and he can't pull it out.  But be careful not t put it in too far.  You don't want it to absorb the drops... just prevent them from coming out.  Good luck!

I'm asked my mom cause I had tons of ear infections as a kid, she said she would just hold me when I was really relaxed to do it or while I was sleeping  Is he too young to have a fav movie?  Maybe have him lay down and watch that movie for a while?  Did he get antibiotics also?
