Got the Joovy ultralight and we love it!! Found it on craigslist brand new and I think that it will be perfect when we have our next. Until then I love the xtra space. Easy to manuver, just a little hard to steer with one kid in the front, only a couple lbs heavier than our graco metrolite. Thanks for all of your input!!
We're looking into double strollers, dd is 13mo and ttc now. Looking for a double that will last, easy to manuver for long walks (pavement, parks and dirt), lightweight as possible and easy to store. Budget is under $300 (More like $250 but can stretch for quality)
Like GRACO DUO GLIDE, but it seems huge and heavy, and ratings aren't great for durability/longevity. ($150-$200 30lbs)
Like JOOVY ULTRALITE CABOOSE with a stand/sit ride in the back, but unsure about comfort for toddler. ($200, 21lbs)
Like INGLESINA TWIN SWIFT but unsure about infant useability. ($250 28lbs)
Like SCHWINN FREE WHEELER for it's manuverablity (park walking, not a big jogger) but it's expensive $300ish. What do you ladies think?!?!

My son was 26 months when I had my daughter, and we thought long and hard about strollers. Ultimately, because I didn't take both of my kids out casually by myself, we got 2 separate umbrella strollers so we could split up. They worked well for us when my daughter was around 4 months, and not as floppy a baby. If I had to do it again though, with our circumstances now (like DH having a day job instead of swing shift), I would likely choose the sit and stand. My son would not have lasted in that Graco, I can't stand side-by-side umbrellas, and a jogger is just so big. Good luck, whatever you choose!

We are about to upgrade from our current stroller. I'm looking a the Maclaren double umbrella stroller. Its priced at $265 but it goes from birth to 110 lbs so for me this is something I can definitely get my monies worth of use out of! Another plus to this stroller is that its only 26.9 lbs which is a lot lighter than some others I've been looking at!
My Graco is 3 1/2 years-old now and is still going strong. I have had as many as four kids piled up on it and was still able to maneuver it and push it. We are a family that is always out and about and this stroller has been wonderful for my kids. Although my eldest is six now we still take it to places like the Fair so both kids can rest in it and to carry our stuff.
I cant offer too much advice but I can offer something to keep in mind. My friend has twins (10 months old now) and she bought a great double stroller which she hardly uses because its heavy and takes up a lot of room in the car. She got another smaller one that folds easily, fits well in the car AND can easily go through a standard doorway (huge when going to restaurants or stores). Just something to keep in mind!
I have the first one, and I like it a lot. Ive noticed the side by side ones you cant get into a lot of doors and that's inconveinent. As for the second one, I dont think I would like the comfort for the toddler.
Our Graco Duo Glider works really well for us. I put my toddler in the front, and baby in the back.
I will only buy graco. They make very high quality stuff. I have a duoglider right now and will be trading it up for a quattro tour duo here soon because the car seat we're getting matches it and not the duoglider. The duoglider is going to someone who really needs it and can't afford another stroller right now and we have the money saved up so we're getting a new one. There's nothing wrong with the stroller, the wheels don't even squeek and we've had the things for over 2 years now. Best stroller hands down.
