Can they share a bed?

My sons are 6 and 5 and they share a room but always end up sleeping on the same bed. Is it okay for me to move the other bed out of the room and letting them sleep on one instead? Or would CPS frown upon that?

Are they foster children or is there some other reason for CPS to be involved?

They're YOUR children, you can do whatever works.   I plan to let my boys share a bed if they want when they are older... we all sleep together now, I figure they'll want to sleep together in the future.

I would keep the bed in the room but I don't think there is anyhing wrong with your sons sleeping in the same bed. Sometimes CPS needs to get their crap straight and concentrate/focus on real abuse claims. But that is another story.

Do you need the other bed for somethng else? I think every child should have a bed to call their own. If they choose not to sleep in it, thats fine.

No, they arent foster children. I just have some crazy in-laws who like to call CPS on me all the time.

Thank you guys for the advice

Sorry to say this but tell them to stick it up there nose. You can't get in trouble for that. They need to minf their buisness.

I don't see any reason why they can't sleep in the same bed. I don't think that is any grounds for CPS to get involved for sure!!

As long as the boys feel comfortable. Why not. My kids (not anymore) Boy AND girl used to sleep in one bed all the time. I guess they just needed it. Keep the other bed though you never know. 3 months from now it might be a whole different ballgame at your house

Unless they are foster children with fostering guidelines about sleeping arrangements, there should be no problem with them sharing a bed. Is it a full size bed? That would make a difference on my personal decision.
