Hello,I just moved into this house where I dont know aht the people used it for, but one room reeks of ammonia and Ive left the door open to air out and cant think of what to do to get rid of this stench. Does anyone know of anything I can put in the room to kind of soak up this smell to get rid of it? Ihate this smell its driving me nuts.

If it is from animal pee white vinegar should work. Just brush it on and let it dry. Or you might have to pull up any carpet.

IDK. Cat pee smells like ammonia to me.

Cat pee smells just like ammonia (because it contains ammonia).  I would try sprinkling baking soda, leaving it overnight and vaccuuming it up.  If that doesn't work you can rent a steam cleaner or if you rent, ask your landlord to hire carpet cleaners.

I am a "I don't summarize my parenting style in a paragraph because it's none of your business" mom of 3.
