i got a new bike.. will it help?

i got a new mountain bike to ride around my neighborhood... will this help me loose weight ya think if i ride often enough?

Yes of course it will, a bike is great excercise because it doesnt injure your joints and feet like jogging, but you must ride at a good pace so you are breathing hard fpr 15 min.s good luck!

I lost 20 lbs in high school (all I had to lose at the time) by riding my bike 16 miles a day!  I would LOVE to start doing that again but I feel it is too much stress on me while we are TTC since we live on top of a HUGE hill and I would always have to ride up it LOL.  We are walking instead :)


Have you experienced a miscarriage or lost a baby during pregnancy?

Its great exercise! I used to take 30 minute bike rides everyday (at the moment I'm injured so no bike rides :(  ) and i did it in both my pregnancies. Make sure that you ride at a good pace!
