Ah, playdates! Who doesn't love them?

But, what if you dislike the other parent(s)? Do you still go ahead and set up play dates?

Hell no.....if I don't like the parents...not gonna happen. More than likely it's because of their parenting style and I don't want their kids around mine.

I'd lean to yes, but it would depend. If that parent seems responsible, then I would and just be cordial.
