It took my DD awhile to get the hang of drinking out of the ones that had no spill seals in them b/c she has to suck so hard to get a drink. So I started her on the ones that have the soft nipples that aren't spill proof and slowly introduced the others back in after she was about 10 months old. She is now 13 months and I have to take the soft ones away b/c she makes such a mess lol but it's great for starters!

The soft ones.they are kinda like a bottle but have a spout instead of a nipple.either that or a training cup.

I use the Nuby ones.  They were easiest for my daughter to go to from the bottle.  All she did on the ones you show is bite the spout.  The ones I got are $1.74 at Walmart, lol.  Here's what they look like....

I use Nuby, they're soft spouted. My poor little guy never had a bottle or cup, so when I started to introduce them recently, he couldn't figure them out. I tried several, and he pretty much immediately figured out the Nuby.

When my DD was starting out with sippy cups she would only drink out of the ones with a straw.

This one:

Boys are more rough than girls.  I wouldn't have been able to use them with my boys either.  They would bite and pull.
