My DH works days and I work nights so when Im at work Daddy is home, otherwise I always have my LOs.

Usually I take my kids every where I go. Is extremely rare that are not with me or at least the LO. But in those cases my SIL and my MIL had take care of them.

We've never had a babysitter and have no family or close enough friends that we can leave the children with. Basically, we go everywhere together since the day Ellen came home then Viktor arrived.

The only time we ever have a chance to be alone is when we take them to visit my family back home. My father is retired so he'd stay with them, while we meet up with some old friends for gathering. That doesn't happen very often but when we have a chance to fly home to visit, that's the only time we leave the kids at home.

My son is 3 and my daughter is 15 mo. and neither have EVER been left with a sitter or family. But when we do decide that it is time to let them be babysat it will be my dad and my step mom. I just dont think right now for us is the right time to let them be with someone else other than me and their daddy!

The only time Im not with my son is when i am at work. He is in daycare 3 days a week and with SO (his father) the other 2 days.  not my ideal situation but it the way it has to be.

I chose a combination.

I go to school at night for 6 hours every night. If my husband is not working the night shift, he watches our daughter. If my husband IS working the night shift, then my mom or his mom watches our daughter.

When I'm working my daughter stays with my grandmother who is a retired teacher. And every other week she spends one weekend night with parents.  When our son is born my grandmother will also take care of him while I'm working. But he won't be staying over night until he's at least 1 year..I did the same with my daughter

My daughter LOVES going to my grandmother's house while I work. And she abslutely adores my parents and loves staying over.. So for us it works out perfectly =)

Combo. Most of the time he's with me. But on the rare occasion that I get a mom's night out he stays with DH. Again on the rare occasion that DH & I get a date night we just have friends watch him & we return the favor.

The only ones who watch my new daughter (my son is a teen) is my Andee (My wife/girlfriend) and my brother and his wife...I just am not comfortable with anyone else watching her right now. The only other one I would let watch her is my bestfriend and his girlfriend.

Cheers, Morgan
