She stopped tellin me she needs to go potty...what do i do?
I just started potty training my 2 and 1/2 year old daughter a little over two weeks ago. She caught on really well. By the third day she was staying dry all day and tellin me every time she needed to go pee pee. She told me everytime she needed to go and always waited until we made it to the potty. Even when we were out shopping or something. I am so proud of her. But i knew she would have set backs...shes little and just learning. But in the past 2 days shes stopped telling me she needs to go before she goes. If i dont remind her to go to the potty or dont ask her if she needs to go she just doesnt tell me. She will start going in her panties and once she feels the wet she stops and then tells me she needs to go. And I dont know why shes started doing with this!! I dont know what to do. Should i keep reminding her? Please any advice or suggestions would be great!!! I want to do this rigth and make potty training as easy and fun for her as i can!! Shes so proud of herself for going potty like mommy and wearing big girl panties and i would love to keep it that way!!!
There is nothing wrong with reminding her to go potty IMO!
My son is almost 3 1/2 years old and I still remind him to go pee, or he will hold it too long and have to RUN to the bathroom. He just gets too busy playing etc. and doesn't want to stop to go potty.
I always have my son "just try" to go potty for me before we go anywhere, when he first wakes up in the morning, before he goes to bed, and if I notice that it has been a quite while since he last went.
This keeps us from having another incident like the time when he waited too long, ran to the bathroom, and started peeing after he got his pants down, but before he made it to the toilet! Talk about a giant mess! LOL.
Proud wife, and mama of 2 boys.

I think she's made wonderful progress! Ask her if she has to pee once an hour or so...after she has a drink or before you're about to leave a place that has a bathroom, and in those typical situations. It sounds like you're doing everything right!
From what I've learned, it's also really important not to make a big deal out of the accidents. Just be like, "oh, that's okay, it happens" and help her get changed. For both my older sons, in the beginning we dressed them in pants that were really easy to pull down, and kept them in just their undies whe we were at home -- that made it much easier for him go to the toilet on his own, without needing our help. I think it sounds like she totally gets it and this is just part of the process!
