I am curious how you go about finding a play group in your town to meet other moms in your area. Any ideas?

Does your local library have Children's story hour?  I took our son a few times and he loved it.  We took a break for a while since H1N1 was rampant in our city, but he gets his vaccination tomorrow and we plan on going back soon.   I get a chance to get out of the house and meet other moms and he got to play with other kids his age.  I highly recommend it and it's free!

I am a member of the local chapter of the International MOMS Club.  You can find links to chapters here.

If the link doesn't work, cut and paste this address ..... http://www.momsclub.org/links.html

Hope that helps!!!

You'll probably also find moms on CafeMom who live in your area and want to get together. Try doing a "Mom" search -- it's listed under the Green Moms Tab towards the top left of this page. Type in your location and whatever other information you want to search by.

Here's a link to Mom Search: http://www.cafemom.com/search/search.php?reset=1
