Yes, I bought a slow cooker...and it sat on my fridge (it's a short fridge) for weeks. Finally, last night I used it for the first time!
I cut up carrots, zucchini, celery, tomatoes, onion, garlic and squash, and added vegetable broth, can of diced tomatoes, cumin, allspice, salt and pepper and cooked it on high for 4 hours. Unfortunately, by the time it was done, it was almost midnight and I really didn't want to taste it (had already brushed my teeth).
So now I have cooked vegetables for my LO to eat all prepared! It's an awful lot though, so I hope the other kids like it too.
What should I make next? I usually don't cook meat that often, but could...
