My daughter is just over 2 weeks old but she eats all the time! She doesn't throw up or anything from eating too muh or anything like that, but she is just so small it is hard to believe she can handle all she takes in. She seems happy and content after eating but I am just worried I am feeding her too much. Is that possible?
If she's nursing, then it's next to impossible to over feed. :-) My son gained four pounds in his first month (that's twice the average weight gain) in part because he ate every hour on the hour around the clock for about six or eight weeks. After that he settled down some.
Babies go through growth spurts at around 10 days, 3 weeks, 6 weeks, and 3 months of age and they tend to want more food either just before or just after the growth spurt.

It may seem like a lot, but it probably isn't. Plus LOs go through growth spurts a TON in the first year :D
I agree with this. Plus at that age (two weeks) digestion is rather new. I remember thinking that my daughter would never stop eating. And many times after that. Especially when she was around 6 1/2 months, I thought she was going to eat everything in the house.
My son ate all the time at that age too. He wanted to eat every 3 and 1/2 hours. By the time he was 6 weeks old my pedi started him on cereal to satisfy his appetite!
No. If she doesn't gain weight she might be eating too often though. I would TRY and get her on a every 2-4 hour schedule but offer her the same amount she was eating, it should elp her get bigger.
As long as the food is staying down and she is gaining weigh healthy then I would not worry about it. You will also reach a point that she won't want to eat. They kinda go back and forth.
