I think most of us came to CafeMom and joined this group for advice on your little ones, so I was wondering... what is the best source you have for advice? Do you go to your mom, MIL? Maybe a sibling?
I go to my group. It's a group for moms that have had babies in October of 2008 and right there I reach a "panel" of subject matter experts on all things baby. Diaper rash question? Crib question? How much is an average of how much he'd eat? Are other babies walking? What are some interesting toys? What should he be for Halloween? It's all there. Moms keep up on the latest EVERYTHING when it comes to whatever age their child is...so everyone should definitely make sure to find a due date group for their children.
Happy Hunting!
My mom. She raised me and my sister and has worked with babies and toddlers for the past 8 years...so she knows just about everything there is to know
I go to my mom, MIL, and my friends. Most of my friends have young kids so they have experienced almost everything!
I call my parents.
Certain things my dad remembers more about and others my mom had the answers. My parents were on my speed dial since Ellen was 2 days old and they still are on speed dial, but with viktor being #2 there are some things I already know....but I still call them because he's a boy so certain things are different.
