Does your little one have an item they use to comfort themselves? If so what?
I voted pacifier, but he also has a favorite blanket that he uses.
Follow me to learn about Cloth Diapering and why I choose to give my son choice.

Sullevan has a couple of things. He has this little toy that has a small blankie on the bottom of it and a stuffed giraffe on top.. He usually wont go to sleep without it. He also has one of those taggie blankets that he loves, and he sucks his fingers. Usually anything he can get to suck on comforts him. BUT he wont take a paci. lol.. so i voted other since he has more than one. Its funny, b/c if he doesnt have any of the above, what he will do, if me or daddy is holding him, he will wrap his little fingers around part of our shirt and pull it towards his mouth to suck on until he goes to sleep. its so cute.
Im a mommy, a wifey, a daughter, a sister and a best friend. I love my crazy, unorganized life, and I live each day to the fullest, and I savor each moment of each day. I married my best friend 3 years ago. The road for Cory and I has been a hard one, but we will make it. Im a vaccinating, disposable diaper, cio believer, front facing @ 1year & 20 pounds, formula feeding, spanking when the time calls for it, smoking and occasional drinking, anti-abortion, 26 year old full time workin mama and I wouldnt have it any other way. I dont think these things make me a bad mom, its just that I may do things different than you do but that doesnt make me any better or worse than you!

I voted for pacifier. My son never really got attached to any specific toy or blanket because I always tried to rotate them.
I have a friend with 5 year old twins that refuse to go anywhere without their blankie. My friend is so embaressed because the blankies are so gross and worn out. Her girls gave up their pacifiers before they were a year old, but the blankies are still around! Hopefully the give them up before they start kindergarten in the fall!
1. pacifier/me
2. hand/fist

I'm a formula feeding/breastfeeding, disposable diapering,
co-sleeping, c-section mamaX3, baby-wearing, pro-circumcision, pacifier allowing, homeschooling, work-at-home mom to my childrren.
My son never really had anything he used to comfort himself. We didn't use pacifiers and he hated blankets so he used me, lol. Now that he is older he likes blankets and stuffed animals but he still doesn't use them for comfort, he just likes having them around. My daughter is too young for those things yet, but we aren't going to use a pacifier with her either. So more than likely mommy will be the pacifier.
