I know this is a baby group but I figured you guys could help me with something. I had to have an episiotomy and had some stitches and I just wondered how long it took for them to desolve? I had one with my son also but I don't know how long it took. Any ideas?

I'm a fast healer so mine were gone in a few days.

with my 1st 2 children they were gone by 4 weeks. i just had my 3rd 4 1/2 weeks ago and i still have a lot more to go. which really sucks! this time i wasn't cut and they let me tear. i wonder if that's why i'm not done healing yet.

Mine were gone within a week or two. I don't really remember bc at that time I didn't care that they were there bc I wasn't trying to have sex at that point! I know when I did have sex, around 4 weeks they were gone!
