He gets pouty when one of his brothers takes his toy away or if I leave the room for a second.
Of course I tell his brothers to let him play too, and they do, but sometimes they just want the toy he has. I also tell them to "trade" toys with him so he has something to play with too.
Anyone else going through this? I feel so terrible when I see his pouty face...

My girls do this all the time. My 5yo wants what the 2yo has, and vice versa. Sometimes it helps my sanity as well as their problem solving ablities, to just say "you work it out." and they do. other times i have to put a timer on for the particular toy, each get to play for 5 min then they HAVE to trade or get something else for 5 min. Hope it helps.
I know what it's like to see a sad face but I figure they're gonna have to learn some time. Thankfully my toddler doesn't care if someone takes a toy. He'll just find another one. At least that's how he is for now! We'll see how long it lasts. LOL! But I definitely understand the thing about leaving the room. My toddler will work himself into screaming fits sometimes, which then puts him into an asthma attack. I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place. I want a few seconds to myself (restroom or what not) yet if he starts this I feel it's my fault for not letting him come with me. But I don't want him to think he can have his way all the time either. =(
