My DS all of a sudden has started throwing these random fits of anger. It is like a tantrum only nothing starts it. He just all of a sudden will start screaming and throwing himself and nothing will calm him down. Is this just a thing with his age? He is 16 months. Any advice would be great.

I don't know if it's just a thing or not. My toddler who is just over 2 has started this too and it's rather frustrating. I start off ignoring him and let him do his thing. He soons realizes he's not getting attention and eventually stops. When he's done I "try" to calmly tell him he needs to stop acting that way and that it's bad to act like that. He gets it... for a while.
Thank you for your response. I do try to ignore it for as long as I can. I just hope it doesn't last for too long.
