My little guy has a webbed toe, and although it's not a big deal, it hurts my heart to see it. I just sometimes think about him as a child/teenager being picked on because of it. So, anyone have a kid with a webbed toe? What did you do? Surgery? Anything would help
No webbed toes here, but my husband would not have wanted any surgery if our child had any webbed or articulated extra digits, at least until they were older and could decide for themself. A webbed toe probably won't cause much teasing... feet are hidden most of the time when out in public, and most people don't pay much attention to them when they are in view. I guess I'm weird - I think webbed or articulated extra digits are kinda neat. Here is a very short list of celebs with webbed toes:

Well, I know that you can have surgury done to correct it. I don't know how invasive it is. A friend of mine's son had an extra toe so they had it removed. I am sure they would have had the surgury done too if he had the weebed toes. I too would worry about the later years. It wouldn't hurt to just look into the surgury and once you know more about that and if it is pretty safe or not then you could make a decision. GL with whatever you decided to do.
