I know this has been done before but I haven't seen it in awhile. So if you had a vaginal delivery did you have epidural or other pain meds?
I have two babies, 8 years apart, with 1st planned to do natural and I was able to luckily, so when I got pregnant with second I knew I would do natural again.
I had an epidural once I hit 7cm with no pain med, only the local anesthetic and a small dosage. It wore off by the time I hit 10cm so I could feel it all when I pushed, which is what I wanted. I was in labor for 36 hours so after 30 hours my midwife suggested getting the local anesthetic so I can have a break before pushing.

I absolutely did. I'm fine with being sick and not taking any medicine, but pain is not something I deal with well. So I had an epidural with all 3 kids. Made my life just that much easier.
I had a half of dose of stadol but no epideral because the Dr could not find my epideral space, I am happier this way though because I only pushed twice and out she came. i also found that I didn't need any pain meds after other than advil. I do not plan on having any more children but if I change my mind I would like to go naturally again....
I was in labor for 36 hours... over 12 hours were back labor... I kept getting sent home being told I could rest better at home because I was not dialating... I begged for pain meds
