1st Birthday Party issue

My daughter turns 1 on the 16th, and to make things a little easier on me I was thinking about reserving the party room at the local pizza restaurant.  I ran it by my man, and he said it was fine.

Well he went and spent some time with his dad today, and now he said he wants me to stick with the original plan which was renting the local grange, but instead of us getting all the food we could turn it into a pot luck.  He said it would be less intrusive that way.

What do you think?  Do you think having the birthday party at a pizza parlor is intrusive (they will be buying there own pizzas)?

You are having the party, so you should be providing the food.

A pot luck sound fine for family :)

but yes if its at a pizza place your guests will think your proving the food.

A pizza party means that piza is provided - - if you are looking to have your guests provide food, a potluck is a better way to go.  ;)
