My friend had on her Facebook update "The little one just pooped (referring to her 6 month old)" and went on to describe what it looked like!!!

Does anyone else share personal details in their updates? I try to leave mine generic but I'm also a more private person than this mom.

I share some stuff about my kids but it is the main way I can get the info to some family and close friends. As for sharing about my kids pooping habits and what they look like, I don't share that b/c I don't like to look at their poop and I'm sure no one wants to know what it looks like or smells like.

i say things like watching this with G or G played so much today that he just passed out. but nothing about bowel movements.

I wouldn't post about bowel movements, but I do post a lot. Some days more than others, some days not at all. It's how I keep in contact with most friends/family since I only have a prepay phone and don't drive.

Everyone has different comfort levels and I guess it would depend on one's friend list.

I try not to get too personal. I know no one wants to know about my son pooping. I can't stand it when people update their statuses so many times and tell people every single thing about their life. It's so annoying.
