When I had my son I chose not to see DS beeing born. I am currently trying for another baby and I am really undecided on what to do. Part of me wants to use the mirror this time and part of me is freaked out about seeing down there lol. What did you all decide?

I did not use a mirror w/ #1. I did use the mirror for #2 and it was amazing!! I felt like I was hitting a block trying to push out #2 so the dr and nurse set up the mirror so I could see my progress. 20 minutes later, DD#2 was born!! I found it an absolutely amazing experience watching her come out of me. It was the best incentive!!

I did and it was absolutely amazing...and it gave me a focal point for pushing.I could see the progress I was making and it drove me to work even harder.
