Colic?

 anyones baby ever have colic?

when did it start and what was the sign?

just curious. My 2 week old doesnt cry alot but she is very gassy and screams and just wants to be held.

My grandma said thats how my cousins colic started and she was HORRIBLE!!!! so now im paranoid. i will lose my mind.

My son did. It was horrid. He cried for 6 weeks straight it felt like. From about 6 weeks to 12 weeks.

As far as gas goes, try burping more often, and try mlyicon drops.

yepp, we got gas drops- definatly helps. And the vibration on her bouncy seat is amazing!

 Try burping baby more often during feedings. Good luck!

Esmeralda had colic from pretty much birth (wasn't diagnosed until 3 weeks since they won't diagnose it until that age) until she was 6 months. All she did was scream and cry ALL DAY AND NIGHT. She wouldn't even sleep or eat most of the time. It was very hard. My husband and I took turns sleeping since she would literally be awake all day and night screaming and crying.

We moved across the country when he was 5 weeks, so I think a lot of it could have been from the stress of the move.
