Diaper Rash? *PIC* **UPDATED**

We've dealt with diaper rash before, it just never looked like this.  They are literally a ton of little hard white heads all up her crack- is this a diaper rash? Or some weird kind of break out?

**UPDATE**so the rash went away after 2 days, I took your collective advice on letting her bum air out, not using any kind of cream and keeping her extra clean.  It healed all on it's own!  I really appreciate your help and feedback :)  Now let's not ever tell her I posted a picture of her bare bottom online!

I'd say break-out.

thank you for the 'heat rash' suggestion.  i just looked up 'heat rash' and it looks like you are correct.  especially since it has shown up worse since we had put ointment on it (you're not suppposed to do this with heat rash, it clogs the already clogged pores)

thanks :)

I'd keep a close eye on it...he looks kind of like a yeast infection to me.   If it doesn't get better in a day or two, you might need a prescription anti-fungal cream.

if it is a yeast infection then nystatin works but is a prescription but if heat is, use hydrocortisone to dry it up...and let the baby air out for a while

I agree with the ladies its either a heat rash or yeast infection
