DS is almost 7 months old and we tried watered down juice for him, he wanted nothing to do with it.

No soda whatsoever.  My 2 1/2 yr old gets one sippy of diluted 100% fruit juice a day which amounts to about 3-4 oz juice to 4-5 oz water.  He may get a little extra juice on a hot day but that's it.  My 8 month old does not get juice, only formula in a bottle and water in a sippy occasionally.

Helena didn't have either one until after a year, but even now at almost 4 she's had only a few sips of soda total, and rarely gets any juice and when she does it's almost always veggie juice. She'd rather just have water.

Yeah I give my almost 9 month old little drinks of my pop since she can drink from a straw now but for the most part I just give her her own juice or pedialyte
