My son will only take Soothies and that's all he would ever take.

My son used a soothie until we started him on a bottle because he had a soothie type nipple and we didnt want to confuse him then we switched to a mam type one we got from the hospital then when that one started coming apart we used the disney ones my sister gave us then when we lost those we went with the mam type ones and now that those are lost we r doing parent's choice. But at 18 months we are going to stop giving it to him except when he is upset or sleeping.

My son is a Soothie addict too! He only likes the newborn one too. I tried to upgrade him to the Super Soothee and he hated it! He is almost 16 months old and still won't take anything else.

My DS took Nuks, my DD took Playtex brand that was little like the Soothies.

The soothie one they gave him at the hospital.  They gave us 4 (2 are still in the original bags as back-ups).

DD will only take Nuk. It's the one my lactation consultant recommended so we started giving it to her at 2 weeks. Now she wont take any other kind. It's like she gets mad at me for trying to give her a different one.

He no longer uses a paci, but he almost exclusively used a Soothie.  When he was a little older (like 8 months) he would take a Binky but still preferred the Soothie.  Now he only chews on the Soothie.
