I'm so proud of my little man!

So William had his MRI today. He was such a big boy. He only cried a little when he came out of his anastisia (sp). It was so scary ahnding him over to a nurse to take him away, but I guess it was nothing compared to what surgery would/will be. I'm so proud of how well he did and I hope we find out the result soon!

Why did he need an MRI?  Handing your baby over for surgery is hard.  When dd needed surgery for a badly broken arm I was a mess inside.

The doctors believe that he has nystagmus. It is an eye disorder where the eyes dart and bounce. They had to do an MRI to confirm the diagnosis and to figure out what type of nystagmus. If that is what he has, he will eventually need surgery too. I know that I will be a mess at that time too.
