my daughter will NOT go to sleep unless i put her on her tummy. i dont trust it so when she has been asleep for a little bit i turn her over. and sometimes she wakes up and throws a fit until i put her back. she is 6 months but she is delaying a little bit. she only just started rolling over. how do i break her of sleeping on her tummy and get her sleeping on her back until she can learn to roll on her tummy herself? and advice would be great!

If she is rolling over, it's fine. The peak age for SIDS is 4 months, so she's passed the peak "warning" age.

she should be ok on her tummy if her face isn't buried in the mattress. if you have a baby monitor place it in the crib with her that way you can hear you breathing. (when I had my 1st child my pedi told me that I had to place him on his tummy.)

if she can roll over herself, she is okay on her tummy. my son started sleeping on his tummy right around 5-6 months
