Gentian Violet

I went to the pharmacy and talked to the pharmacist about medicines for thrush. All they offer is Gentian Violet. I forgot to ask how long her tongue is going to be purple. To moms who used it, how long does the dye last? I also put it on my tongue because it smelled bad so I tested the taste.

I wanna say it was only like a day before it wore off.  Its been a while since I had to use it.  Just make sure if you are bf to put it on your nipples too or make sure you have something else to use because you will keep passing it back and forth.  Also make sure if you are usin pacifiers or bottles they get boiled often.

I used it about a month ago with my DD. Her tongue was purple for about 2 days then it wore off. Just reember to wash all the bras your wearing in hot water. If any pacis or bottles wash them in hot water and boil them or you will keep passing it back and forth
