DD is 9 months old. I got her sick =( her nose is runny and she has chest congestion. i can hear it when she coughs (you know when you cough up mucous?) is there ANYTHING i can give her ? her pedi said not to give her anything but there has to be something to help relieve this nastiness.

thanks

steam? Just go in the bathroom & heat up the shower as hot as it goes. Keep her in there for as long as you both can stand it so it loosens up the mucous. Then, use the bulb syringe to suck it out of her nose.

Do you have a humidifier? I'd try humidity and nasal bulb. Hope she feels better soon.
