I don't know. My mom watches my kids here and there so I can do errands or whatever alone. Maybe a month old? I'm not sure.

My mom watched her when she was pretty little--however first babysitter outside of family was when she was about 3 months old. My close friend watched her for the evening. I just put her to bed and she came over and Karrigan slept the whole time.

My kids have never been left with someone I don't know. They stay with their grandparents a lot, a friend of ours has kept my oldest while I was working, a lady from church kept them both for me twice so I could go to my female Dr., another friend of mine kept them while I was at my grandpa's viewing (long story, but someone I didn't want around my kids was there), and my brother's wife has kept them a handful of times.

Any other time, DH or I have them.

My oldest was a few months old for a few hours while I worked. My youngest was also a few months old for date night. For my youngest we did wait until she slept through the nightbefore leaving her with the neighboor.
