How do I tell true depression apart from the baby blues?

I have no experience.
*I* would contact my doctor and look it up and read on it in the meantime.

Depending on how long its lasting, what symptoms are happening, how severe you feel.

You should call a Dr immediately especially if you or someone you know MAY be suffering from depression.

That can be tricky. I would definitely talk to a dr about it.

I had what I thought was baby blues with my first born I was crying about everything I just chalked it up to being so overly emotional and my hormones are getting back on track. It turned out to be PPD and its serious I would see your dr. talk with them and start some sort of exercise that helps alot and some time out in the sun eating right these all help.

hey I feel for you lady :) baby blues are nomal and really there is not a lot of difference between the to. please talk to you dr. and remember you have all of us :) hugs

 I'm not sure. I know there are checklists on line comparing the different.
