Advice on getting my baby to not fight sleep?

My daughter is 3 months old and she used to sleep through the night and go to bed easy. Nothing has changed about our routine or where/how she sleeps. But she has always had a problem with fighting her sleep. She will cry and scream till she starts coughing and her face is so red and with tears. It makes me sad and it takes me awhile to calm her down and awhile to get her to sleep. Any advice on what I can do to help her? I don't understand why she is fighting sleep.

What is your Routine like? Do you Rock her? Just put her down? Nurse her or bottle feed?

Does she only do it at night? Or does she do it for naps, too?

She might benefit from one of those crib lights that plays music and puts a light pattern on the wall. It's usually an ocean theme. My oldest always went to sleep better with that playing.

She might be going through a growth spurt. I rock and sing to my baby until they fall asleep.
