Did you add rice cereal to the baby bottle?

Why do I keep hearing so many people say this? I mean when the baby is young they can't even digest what you are giving them.

Did you do it?

No Emma pediatrician said that the bottle is doing it the lazy way I don't want to offend anyone by saying that. but we do it by spoon & she can learn how to eat with a spoon.

Nope! I BF and then introduced cereal on a spoon around 7 months right before I introduced other foods.

I'm skipping cereal. It has no nutritional value plus its best to spoon feed them it by 6 months old because the stomach will be mature enough to digest solids. Its a no no to put it in the bottle. Choking and sids risk are greater doing that.

Nope. My sister kept insisting that I needed to with DD to help her sleep through the night. She said she did it the moment she got home from the hospital. I knew better than to do it though. I did my own research.

Yeah I feel the same way as well. I bf right now and I don't want to add it at such a young age. People add it when they are newborns.

I heard that people have to add for reflux as well. My friend said her doctor said to thicken the bottle for her sons reflux.
