Mother Of Most Surviving Children From A Single Birth: Giving Birth To Eight Children At A time.

The highest number of children born to a mother at a single time is eight. Known to media as octomom, Nadya Denise Doud Suleman Gutierrez gave birth to octoplets in January 2009. Her set of eight children are only the second to be born alive in th US and they quickly surpassed the previous records in 1998. Suleman is unemployed single mother and she already had six children at home at the time. Nadya Suleman, AKA Nadya Denise Doud-Suleman Gutierrez (born 1975) is known in the media as the Octomom after she gave birth to octuplets January 26, 2009. Nadya Suleman’s decision to have the 8 children was highly criticized because she already had 6 children. Also there was a controversy in her childbirth. Because of the so many children she is not financially independent.
